Rochester Hope has partnered with Saint Vincent de Paul Society (SVDPS), providing them with space for their store at North Clinton Ave (7,000 sq. ft.) Through this partnership we provide home visits, as well as over the phone consultations, to identify the needs of impoverished populations in our zip codes, connecting people with needed resources and agencies, helping them navigate the system, as well as providing them with gently used furniture and household items to improve their housing and living conditions. SVDPS does home visits to assess people's needs and connect them with proper resources they might need. Their volunteers worked 12,550 hours and made 433 visits in the last year, effectively assisting 364 households. They also collect and distribute gently used furniture; $36,500 worth of furniture was distributed in the last year.To support this program please click here.
