Service Festivals

Since October 2022, every month, usually on the First Saturday we hold a Service Festival at the Saint Michael Campus on N Clinton and Clifford. The idea is to bring providers of all services to the very communities and neighborhoods that need them the most. We have partnered with 50 plus agencies to bring caring hands to the heart of our city. As part of these Service Festivals we hold a community meal each month serving 150 meals. We also have activities and prizes for the children who attend.

You can be part of our service festivals...
  • If you work for an agency or service that would be interested in joining the festival please contact Mike Schwabl at bringingcaringhands@gmail.com
  • We would be grateful to have  volunteers come on the first Saturday of the month to help us set up and take down tables and tents for our service festival at Saint Michael, it would be between 9 am and 11 am for set up and between 2 and 3 pm for taking down. You could come only for set up or you could come only for taking things down, or you could stay for the whole thing and enjoy the complimentary community meal.

Please pray about donating 2-6 hours of your time and coming to help us out one of those first Saturdays.  If you are interested please contact Norah Nolan-Cramer at  bringingcaringhands@gmail.com or sign up for a volunteer shift by clicking here.

  • You can support the expenses of our Service Festival and Community Meal through a financial donation, learn more here.
